You've been asking, and we heard you. Introducing the Reduce Power Spring Kit for the Canik TP9SF Elite/Combat Elite/SFX/SF series of pistols. This isn't a thrown together GLOCK/Walther spring combo either, we sent the blocker and trigger return springs off to our spring maker to have springs made specifically for the TP9 SFE/CE/SFX/SF series. This spring kit will drop the pull weight to between 3.5lbs to 4.5lbs, depending on the tolerances of your particular pistol. Maintaining the short reset of the pistol, while dropping the pull weight was our goal and this kit delivers in spades. Feel the difference and get yours today!

Available in 3 lb or 4 lb reduced units. The reduced power 4 lb is a good reduction for a lighter pull and good ignition of standard or higher quality primers. The 3 lb is the lightest option giving an even lighter pull but will need higher quality primer ammo, low grade bulk practice ammo will struggle with the 3lb spring and should be avoided. ***

Is the 3lb striker sufficient for 124 gr with a strike comp and red dot running the tp9sf elite

The striker spring rate isn't affected by barrel devices or bullet weight. It is just setting the impact force to the primer. The ammo maker is going to set if they use quality primers or hard primers. We have some info our faq page to help with ammo selection.

Hi, I am wondering if this will fit in the Canik TP9, SC elite? I have seen several people ask about it with not a clear answer. Some administrator said yes and some said no. I need to know for sure before I buy it.

We have not released a SC elite spring kit yet, we have a sample pistol in but have not got any info on the springs yet from our spring maker we sent them to for testing.

Elite Combat Executive.
First off, I cannot remember which # springs I bought but the fact my trigger pull weight is down to around 3# on a 10 pull average, I'm guessing it was the 3# setup. (Some under 3#, some slightly over with my human inconsistency.)

Zero complaints. Easy install, no fuss, no hassle, and this was my first mod I've ever bothered to do to a pistol.

Highly recommend this for any stock Canik. Makes a good trigger far better.

I also suggest adding the new lightened flat face trigger from Canik for a 90° break. Makes a world of difference in take up, slight in reset, and just an overall better and faster shooting experience.

Just installed the spring kit and reduced power firing pin spring (4lb), and have been doing some dry fire practice. First, the kit was easier to install than anticipated, using just the factory punch and a small hook/pick. Trigger feel is appreciably easier to pull, and a bit smoother. Action reset seems to be a bit easier as well. I do not have a scale to verify these accounts, but I do like the new feel, and have been practicing with a laser dry-fire bullet in my living room.

There was a bit of a gritty trigger feel to its pull, but I sprayed some Birchwood Casey in the frame which dislodged whatever grit was causing it.
The trigger pull was still a bit heavier than my other two TP9s, an Elite SC and an Elite SF. Then I installed both of these springs into my TP9 SF. Now its trigger feel and pull are as smooth and as light as my two Elites. I'm completely satisfied with what these springs have done to the SF.

I really enjoy this spring kit. Only draw back for me is I did not notice a change in the plunger spring that may be due to reducing both springs equally. Not sure. But I did notice a lighter and smoother trigger pull. Im ordering my second set
