Galloway Precision Products, Inc. participates in the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard to provide our customers with a reliable and secure connection to our system. On October. 11, 2016, we will begin disabling access to our card processor from browsers that do not support SSL versions TLS 1.2. To continue to access our card processor beginning on October 11th, please ensure that you are using an approved operating system (O/S) and browser, and that the browser has the proper settings. The chart below shows the O/S and Browsers that support TLS 1.2. Only Windows Vista and XP system users that use Internet Explorer as their browser will not have the ability to support TLS 1.2.

  • All Windows XP using Internet Explorer

Yes, will work:

  • All Windows O/S using last 9 versions of FireFox
  • All Windows O/S using last 9 versions of Opera
  • All Windows 7 and newer using last 9 versions of Chrome
  • May work on Windows 7 & 8 using last 4 versions of Internet Explorer (Microsoft has stopped supporting effective June 2022)
  • All Windows 10 and 11 using Microsoft Edge
  • All Mac O/S using the last 2 versions of Safari

Enabling SSL Versions TLS 1.2

All modern Browsers will have TLS 1.2 enabled from the initial install. If you are using an older version of your browser, please update to the current version or select the browser that you are using to connect to this site and follow the instructions to enable:

Internet Explorer:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Press ALT + T and select “Internet Options”.
  3. Select the “Advanced” tab.
  4. Scroll down to the “Security” section.
  5. Locate and check “Use TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2".
  6. Then, press the “OK” button.

Google Chrome:

  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Click Alt F and select “Settings”.
  3. Scroll down and select “Show advanced settings...”
  4. Scroll down to the Network section and click on “Change proxy settings...”
  5. Select the “Advanced” tab.
  6. Scroll down to the “Security” section.
  7. Locate and check “Use TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2′′.
  8. Then, press the “OK” button.

FireFox:

  1. Open FireFox
  2. Type in “about:config” in the URL bar and press Enter
  3. Scroll down to “security.tls.version.max” and press enter
  4. Set the value to 3
  5. Then, press the “OK” button.

Opera:

  1. Open Opera
  2. Click Ctrl+F12
  3. Click on “Security”
  4. Click on “Security Protocols...”
  5. Check on “Enable TLS 1.1 & TLS 1.2”
  6. Press the “OK” button.
  7. Then, press the “OK” button.

Safari:

  1. There are no options for enabling SSL protocols. If you are using Safari version 7 or greater, TLS 1.1 & 1.2 are automatically enabled.
