The CPX-1 GEN 3 and CPX-2 GEN 3 Dark Sky Short Stroke Trigger Kit

Introducing our newest trigger kit for the CPX GEN 3 series of pistols, the Dark Sky, reducing the overall trigger travel of your CPX by 50%. Now available in Flat Faced and Curved to suit your personal preference. This short stroke trigger packs a big punch by maintaining the 25% reduction in overall pull length as our previous trigger. Includes adjustable pre and post travel stops.  Our Short Stroke Hammer reduces the travel by an additional 25% and is made of heat treated 4330 chrome-moly. When combined you will get your 50% pull length reduction. Become one with your gun, and get yours today!

Our spring kits are made to last from actual Chrome Silicon Spring Wire and not Music Wire like other kits on the market. Made to our specs from ISMI, a leader in spring manufacturing for Formula One as well as the firearm industry.

We have had some requests for a Raw version of our triggers for those that would like to apply a finish of their choosing. So we are now offering RAW as a finish choice. Please keep in mind these will need to be coated in clear or a color of your choice, and once coated with your finish the trigger will be non-returnable. The Red and Black versions are anodized.

We strive to make all parts we manufacture to be drop in, although there is the rare occasion where a part will HAVE to be fitted to the tolerances of your particular pistol. We cannot control the tolerances of mass produced firearms, therefore we highly suggest that if you run into a tolerance issue to contact us at tech@gallowayprecision.com before taking it to a qualified armorer to fit the part. We also offer installation of all triggers, trigger kits, and parts that we make for a nominal fee.

    hi..im waiting on the cpx2 gen3 trigger so can order for that cpx3 at same time....my question is ...i see another question asked about the pull weight and reply was it dropped slightly ....can you give me the pound weight of the trigger pull after install ....thank you

    The reduction varies depending on the overall tolerances in the pistol and it's starting point. Giving an exact number isn't possible. It will reduce it around 20% of whatever it starts out at due to the reduction in cocking distance.

    I got both Cpx-1 gen3 and cpx-4. For me it seems that the cpx-4 has a much, much shorter trigger stroke. Am I right? Also when will this kit be ready for the gen3 and cpx-4? I bought these guns specifically for their DOA and double strike capabilities but the trigger striker is just horrendous. Specially the cpx-1 which I feel it’s un safe since it makes you feel like it strikes the round after the complete trigger pull. Feels delayed and unsafe. The heavyness of the trigger I don’t mind.

    The hammer fired versions all have the same trigger and hammer, same stroke and pull as a result, regardless of generation. The kits are coming soon we have the hammers running now. The hammer only releases after you fully pull the trigger yes, that is how the system cocks then releases it through the pull.
