M&P 9, 40, and 10mm M2.0 Compact 4" Assembled Stainless Steel Guide Rod

Introducing our Assembled Stainless Steel Guide Rod with your choice of Stainless or Black Oxide Retainer for the M&P M2.0 Compact. Also allows use of different spring rates to tune the pistol to your needs and handloads. The flat wound springs are made for us by ISMI, a leader in the spring market here in the U.S.A, to our specifications. Made on the same machines that make springs for Formula 1 and IndyCar race cars, made exclusively with aerospace specification alloys. Made from Chrome Silicon Spring Wire, the only choice for a longer lasting, more enjoyable shooting experience verses inferior Music Wire springs. These are polished and assembled with Loctite to your needs. Select spring rate and retainer screw finish (polished stainless or blacked oxide tool steel) and we'll assemble it as requested.

We offer fully assembled units captured like factory in 15lb, 17lb, 20lb, and 22lb.

-Factory spring is 17lb.

The 15lb spring is for light hand loads only.

Stainless Steel Guide Rod available with your choice of a Stainless or Black retainer screw.

    Will this work on the 2.0 10mm ?
    This is my woods gun. 90% of its shooting is with hot Underwood ammo.
    Would to recommend a 22lb or 24 lb spring ?

    this will fit the 4.0 inch barrel version. If you have a 4.6 inch barrel you will need that version we list separately. The 10mm I only recommend the 24lb rate.

    I'm not sure what you're calling compact. I have a S&W M&P 10mm 2.0 (full size) and looking for a 22lb recoil spring. Will this product fit?

    4 inch barrels are compact versions according to smith and wesson listing models. if it is a 4.6 inch barrel model it needs that version of rod we offer not this 4.0 inch barrel compact model.

    do you have a 22lb recoil spring for m&p 2.0 4in 10mm it has ftf every other shoot and sent it back to company and still has the ftf

    Failure fire is going to be ammo related generally, hard primer. Going to a higher rate recoil spring will not alter ignition force. The issue your having sounds like hard primer ammo or a striker issues. Could be weak ammo not fully sending the slide into battery also but going to a higher rate spring would only make it worse.

    I would suggest a 22lb for the 40 with full pressure or high pressure loads.

    The stock recoil spring for the compact M&P 10mm was a bit too light for 10mm. It is nice to see someone with a product out already to address this. Great looking product, and I got it in 22lb. This should work with the heavy loads I plan to use, Underwood and Buffalo Bore. Thanks for a great upgrade Galloway. Keep ut the good work.
