After working with ISMI on a correct, functional spring kit upgrade we are proud to offer a true performance spring upgrade without the hang ups of the inferior imported springs offered by others. These new spring kits will reduce the pull weight and stacking pressure without the common issue of failure to reset or misfire that other spring kits suffer from so commonly. These springs will last and not corrode being made from High Quality Chrome Silicon Spring Wire, not inferior music wire. These are made here in the US and developed here in the US by ISMI for the best performance possible with your MAX-9. Will this striker spring produce a heavier or lighter primer strike?
Apr 5, 2024, 09:45It is a reduced power spring so impact is lower. Quality practice ammo is needed for best results. We have ammo info on our faq page to avoid due to hard primers in some.

Will the parts for the Ruger max nine work with the California compliant version?
Mar 11, 2024, 08:22As noted the trigger will work with the mag disconnect plate removed. We have a new trigger in the works that will work with the mag plate and offer the same performance but it is about 6 weeks out.

Can I use the short stroke trigger with the heavy hammer spring on my 380 Bodyguard?
Mar 5, 2024, 16:42We do offer the Heavy Hitter Kit that includes the Increased Rate Hammer Spring and the Short Stroke Trigger. If you already have the Santiago Short Stroke Kit with our Hammer in the pistol, we do not recommend using the Increased Rate Hammer Spring in addition.
