You should have a plate that was included with the pistol box from the factory that will work with the RMSC pattern. The plate we offer is for the RMR pattern not supported by the factory.

The plate listing has the optics it supports listed for easy reference, this one supports RMR footprint optics. I do not know what pattern the plate 4 is supposed to support, you manual will have that info.

Hello GP,
I have a Gen 1 SFX that I bought right when they were first released. I finally got around to mounting the #2 plate (RMR) that came with the pistol (along with 3 others for different foot prints) I love all things Canik, but these OEM plates are complete garbage. I'm writing here to ask is the GP plate I'm buying one where I just screw it on to the already cut space in the slide and then just mount my RMR dot to the GP plate????

Our plates will use the pocket the slide already has, they are model specific as Canik can't make them standard for some reason and each version has a different size. The plates will bolt to the slide via the threaded holes the plate has already in it.

No it is only for the model listed, it seats in the factory slide cut out.

I bought this plate to replace the Canik OEM #2 plate for my SFX. I love Canik products, but the plates they shipped with the Gen 1 SFX are TOY like. I'm talking absolute junk. I've had the pistol since they came out and decided to put an RDS on it just a few weeks ago. When I looked at and tried the OEM # RMR plate, I knew instantly I had to check Galloway and hope they made one for this pistol. Sure enough, they did. I can't believe this, Helene was already through the area and as you all know it left a vast path of major carnage. It was only after ordering that I remembered GP is in NC. I immediately sent an email to tell them to take their time and only send it if and when it's even possible, but to keep the order in their que. I was shocked that it arrived this past Saturday, less than a week after my order was placed.
Now for the plate it self, typical GP quality, it fit the slide like a glove and is built extremely well like all their stuff. I was able to mount the RDS on my new GP plate in about 10 minutes. It looks great and feels rock solid. I highly recommend this over the junk OEM plates that came with the Gen1 SFX. Solid 5 stars for the product and a 100/100 for the people who own and work at Galloway. I'm glad you're all safe and look forward to my next purchase. Thank you for the effort
