Reduced Power Striker Springs for TP9 Pistols
Introducing the Galloway Precision TP9 Striker Springs. Chrome Silicon spring wire, not inferior music wire, is used for the highest quality performance striker spring available for the Canik pistol line. Custom made and designed by ISMI, for us, to offer Canik pistol performance in a complete spring package. These are not repackaged Glock springs that "fit". You have your choice of 3 lb or 4 lb striker spring.
The reduced power 4 lb is a good reduction for a lighter pull and good ignition of standard or higher quality primers.
The 3lb is the lightest option giving an even lighter pull but will need higher quality primer ammo, low grade bulk practice ammo will struggle with the 3lb spring and should be avoided.
Fits all Canik TP9, TP9 Sfx, TP9 SFT, TP9 SF Elite, TP9 Elite SC, TP9 DA, TP9 SA, and TP9 V2 Pistols.
As always, proudly made right here in the USA.

I have a Canik TP9 SFX and at least 1 of every 100 rounds results in the slide locked closed. It is tough to open the slide to remove the unfired round. To open the slide I remove the mag and shake the firearm and the slide numerous time and it will eventually open the slide and eject the unfired round. What is causing this and do you offer a solution to this issue?
Apr 10, 2024, 08:53If a round is getting stuck in the chamber un-fired sounds like oversize case. I would try other brands of ammo and if it persists you should reach out to canik to see if they know of any issue with chamber size or extractor function.

Would this fit on a Canik tp9 elite combat?
Feb 6, 2024, 08:31Yes, they share the spring kit across the models. The guide rods and triggers are different though and model dependent.

I have the TP9 Elite SC and I am having out of battery issues sometimes. It is a new gun and I put about 200 rounds on it with Winchester 124g NATO. Doing some research I found that replacing the Striker spring would help but I see that you guys have two options. Which one would you guys recommend for my situation?
Nov 27, 2023, 09:37If your having failure to battery with full pressure ammo like that I would go to the lighter 3lb spring to lighten it up and keep rate out so it should reach battery easier.

Due to a medical condition, I have to shoot very light loads in my PCC and Canik TP9sfx. I only shoot steel challenge and I'm shooting sub-minor loads (around 117 power factor) using 3.5 grains of W231, blue bullets 125 grain TCs and standard small pistol primers. OAL is 1.125. I'm using the sprinco white spring but still getting occasional stovepipes. I'm shooting your Jefe' trigger. I like it very much. Thanks
May 30, 2023, 08:43I do not know which rate the white spring is, sorry not familiar with them. The canik pistol is a rough one to down spring due to the striker spring rate being so high. We have a spring assmeble for them that is 15lbs and uses a lightened striker spring to allow correct function.

I'm having light primer strikes in a Canik SFX with 15 lb recoil spring and 5.5 lb striker spring. Using Winchester SPP and SRP. A few with CCI SPP as well. What striker spring do you recommend?
May 26, 2023, 08:40Change to a different ammo. Our striker springs are lighter than the stock striker spring and will not help with that issue sorry.
