M&P 9, 40, and 10mm M2.0 Compact 4" Assembled Stainless Steel Guide Rod

Introducing our Assembled Stainless Steel Guide Rod with your choice of Stainless or Black Oxide Retainer for the M&P M2.0 Compact. Also allows use of different spring rates to tune the pistol to your needs and handloads. The flat wound springs are made for us by ISMI, a leader in the spring market here in the U.S.A, to our specifications. Made on the same machines that make springs for Formula 1 and IndyCar race cars, made exclusively with aerospace specification alloys. Made from Chrome Silicon Spring Wire, the only choice for a longer lasting, more enjoyable shooting experience verses inferior Music Wire springs. These are polished and assembled with Loctite to your needs. Select spring rate and retainer screw finish (polished stainless or blacked oxide tool steel) and we'll assemble it as requested.

We offer fully assembled units captured like factory in 15lb, 17lb, 20lb, and 22lb.

-Factory spring is 17lb.

The 15lb spring is for light hand loads only.

Does it fit to sigma SW9F

No, the rod assemblies are model specific. we do not offer a rod assembly for any of the Sigma models.

I purchased and installed your 4inch MP 2.0 guide rod assembly with the 15 pound spring and it sometimes fails to go into battery. What would cause this since it doesn’t happen with the factory assembly.

Because it is a reduced power rate spring, it is for reduced power loads.

Would this spring fit my S&W M&P M2.0 Compact with 3.6” barrel? I would like to fire 147 grain subsonic loads. Would a 15 lbs spring apply?

No the 3.6 barrel model is a sub compact and has a different recoil spring setup than the 4 inch barrel compact model we offer a rod for, they are not interchangeable. At this time we do not offer a 3.6 subcompact rod assembly.

I got the m&p 2.0 full size with 4.625 threaded barrel.
As I added a compensator I need a softer spring.
    Is the factory one 17lb and I need a 15lb spring ?

The listing will have the stock rate in it for reference. Going lower is for sub sonic loads typically. If your not able to get the slide to fully cycle as in it is short stroking not loading the fresh round you will need a lower rate or higher pressure ammo due to the extra weight of the comp out past the end of the slide creating lock/unlock issues.

Converting my S&W 40 to 357 Sig. What spring weight would you recommend?

20 or 22 will work well with the pressure range of the 357 sig round.

Extremely Impressed! No buyers remorse! What an excellent product, available in the spring rate I wanted for shooting Underwood 200 Grain carry ammo. Off the charts quality.

The stock recoil spring for the compact M&P 10mm was a bit too light for 10mm. It is nice to see someone with a product out already to address this. Great looking product, and I got it in 22lb. This should work with the heavy loads I plan to use, Underwood and Buffalo Bore. Thanks for a great upgrade Galloway. Keep ut the good work.
