These are direct drop in replacement guide rods, captured with a new recoil spring for your TP9 Elite SC. Our guide rod assembly allows use of different spring rates to tune the pistol to your needs and handloads. Available with a Stainless Steel or Blacked Stainless Steel Guide Rod. The flat wound recoil spring is made for us by ISMI, a leader in the spring market here in the U.S.A, to our specifications. Made on the same machines that make springs for Formula 1 and IndyCar race cars, made exclusively with aerospace specification alloys. Made from Chrome Silicon Spring Wire, the only choice for a longer lasting, more enjoyable shooting experience verses inferior Music Wire springs.

How does the weight of this guide rod assembly compare to OEM? Is this heavier than stock?

The stainless rod is 3 times heavier than the plastic rod.

I have reliably issues with my SC. I run 115 range and 124 JHP. It has been to Canik for service and they sent me another guide rod, still have issues; mostly feeding and stove pipe. Would your product help reliably and if so, what weight spring should I select.

Bullet weight isn't the big factor. Pressure is. Range 115 generally is low pressure barely into min range. The 124 JHP should be full pressure at the top end of range for nominal pressure or into the high pressure +P range. Does the pistol have this issue with the same ammo if you hand it off? Does it follow one magazine or all of them?

Can it fit on a Canik Mete CM9?

I think you mean a MC9. Currently we have the springs made for them but have not had time to produce the rods on our swiss turn machine, hopefully very soon.

I recommend stepping up in rate to the 18 or 20 pound rating for more recoil control.

Thank you for your awesome products! I have a Canik TP9 Elite SC and usually run 115 and 124 grain. What is best spring rate to use with these rounds if I want the least recoil? Thank you in advance!

Thank you for the compliment. The bullet weight is not the big part of spring choice, pressure is. The 124 gr tends to be full pressure or high pressure like the nato round most know. The 115 gr bulk ammo tends to be just inside minimum pressure for 9x19 so they can have cycle issues with higher spring rates. If you are running fine with the stock setup then I would say step up to the 18lb, you should run fine with standard and high pressure ammo but have a little better recoil control.
