These are direct drop in replacement guide rods for both the 3.5 and 4.5, Stainless steel and CAPTURED with a new recoil spring, you'll never need to fight with your stock SR22® spring and guide rod again with our new guide rod and spring setup. Recoil spring rate is 9 lbs. Our spring kits are made to last from actual High Quality Chrome Silicon and not inferior Music Wire like other kits on the market. My SR 22 (S/N 369-60834) is not a captured spring and has a plastic guide rod. Will your captured spring and SS guide rod replace my unit?

Just received this but how do I know which end goes where? Both ends look almost identical and the how to video doesn't explain it or show this. The presenter in the video moves too fast and never slows down to explain what he is doing.
Jun 22, 2022, 08:05Only one end collapses down on the rod body to allow it to be inserted through the slide. The other end is fixed.

Does new spring require more powerful ammunition. I understand the factory is 4 pounds and this new one is 9 pounds.
Mar 10, 2022, 10:00No the spring is the same as stock, made by ISMI spring which makes the stock factory spring also. So springs are the same and your ammo use will be the same as stock for your pistol.

I just bought the SR22 Model 3620. The slide is linger the Standard SR22. Do you have a SS Guide Rod assembly for this ?

What does this do for the gun? Does it prevent misfires? Or jams
