TS9 Assembled Stainless Steel Guide Rod

Our Taurus TS9 guide rods are made of Stainless Steel and come pre-assembled to your spring rate selection. Our recoil springs are made for us by ISMI, a leader in the spring market here in the U.S.A, to our specifications. Our recoil springs are made to last of actual chrome silica spring wire and not music wire like some other manufacturers. Made on the same machines that make springs for Formula 1 and IndyCar racing, made exclusively with aerospace specification alloys, these springs are made to last and provide a more enjoyable shooting experience.

We offer fully assembled units, captured like factory in 15 lb, 18 lb, 20 lb, and 22 lb recoils spring rates.

Comes with a Blacked Stainless Retaining Screw.

Fits Taurus TS9 Pistols only.

As always, made here in the USA and free shipping!

Could you please tell me a little more about the difference in the spring rates? Which is closest to stock, and advantages of higher or lower?
    Thanks, Alan

Stock rate is around 18, it works with most ammo pressures. The higher the rate the more recoil control it will have, shorter brass ejection as well. It will require standard or high pressure ammo. The lower rate rod is for sub sonic low pressure ammo, it will help it cycle normally. I generally recommend the 20lb as it will give more control and still cycle most low grade bulk practice ammo.

I went with the recommended 20#. I've yet to fire this pistol, kinda waiting on my grandson to bring his over, so we can do a side by side comparison of his stock to mine with all the Galloway precision performance parts installed! Then I will install all his parts ;)
This is definitely stiffer than stock! But I've stocked up on +P ammo, so it should help mitigate the extra recoil.
