Is this kit compatible with the 40 s&w version?

I have both the 9mm version and the 40 s&w g3c. The sear springs are different in each gun. If I get this kit and don't install the sear spring, will I get a reduction in trigger pull?

Does this striker spring kit reduce the G3 trigger pull weight to lower than the stock 6 lbs? If so what is the modified trigger pull weight?
Jan 31, 2024, 10:00The springs drop the pull weight yes. The trigger is just a trigger, it doesn't alter the weight just the staging.

The factory striker spring in my Taurus G2C works fine with cheap ball ammo, but will barely put a dent in either of the hp rounds I like to carry. All the ammo I’ve tried feeds fine, but every other hp round fails to ignite. I’m not so concerned with weight of the trigger pull as long as the gun goes off when I pull the trigger. Do you have any products that might eliminate the misfires? Thanks
Jan 2, 2024, 11:03That is a new one, I've never heard of one behaving like that. We only offer the lighter spring at this time as we haven't had any requests for a higher rate spring. If I get enough interest I will look into offering one though.
