22lb Flat Wound Recoil Spring for Kimber Micro 9 Pistols
Micro 9 Flat Wound Recoil Spring
Increased rate over stock for better recoil pulse control prevent frame battering and longer service life than round wire springs. Smooth resistance through slide cycle. These flat wound springs are made for us by ISMI, a leader in the spring market here in the U.S.A, to our specifications. Made on the same machines that make springs for Formula 1 and IndyCar race cars, made exclusively with aerospace specification alloys, these springs are made to last and provide a more enjoyable shooting experience. Made from Actual Chrome Silicon Spring Wire, not inferior Music Spring Wire for lasting quality.
22 lb spring rate, stock spring rate according to Kimber is 11.5 lb (Our test showed stock rate at 16 lb).
The single flat wound spring is considerably longer than the dual spring setup as the flat wound spring requires the extra length to equal the same spring rate as our 22lb dual springs, but no need to worry about proper fitment as the flat wound spring stacks up in the same space as the dual spring setup.
Fits Kimber Micro 9 Pistols.
As always, proudly made right here in the USA.

Any sort of issues or concerns upgrading to this spring with the threaded barrel due to the increased length of the barrel or change in bullet velocity because of the barrel? I know it's a small change in length but I don't see much on the interwebs about how much a .3" increase will do over stock barrel if anything ...
Jun 3, 2024, 07:56The spring fits the stock spring pocket so barrel length isn't an issue with it. It works with stock length or threaded versions.

Darin ReeseOct 13, 2023, 16:42This is absolutely the best thing to happen to the micro 9's since sliced bread. I highly recommend this for anybody that owns one. I was even having issues when a fully loaded mag would be inserted the first round would get caught on the feed ramp lip. Well this fixed that also. 10/10 great job again Galloway precision. You guys are the best!

Philip SalamoneJul 20, 2021, 15:12I am a bit of a Kimber Micro 9 collector (I own 6 different Micro 9 models) and have these springs on every one of them. No jams or issues after I have installed them, They truly do make a difference in performance. A must have if you carry or shoot Micro 9's!

Vernon DavisJan 17, 2021, 22:53Certainly reduced felt recoil. Worth the price to make the Kimber Micro 9 less snappy.
