The Crusader Trigger and Trigger Return Spring

Form meets function with Galloway Precision's Crusader trigger! This is an aluminum trigger upgrade. With a flat face similar to competition and high end carry full size 1911's, along with adjustability for over travel we have brought you the ideal carry trigger for the Micro 9. Light weight and durable these triggers improve pull and are made of high quality aerospace grade aluminum then hard anodized for wear and scratch resistance they also allow the end user to pick the color to finish their pistol. Truly form and function meet in this upgrade.

Our spring kits are made to last from actual High Quality Chrome Silicon and not inferior Music Wire like other kits on the market. Made to our specs from ISMI, a leader in spring manufacturing for Formula One as well as the firearm industry.

We strive to make all parts we manufacture to be drop in, although there is the rare occasion where a part will HAVE to be fitted to the tolerances of your particular pistol. We cannot control the tolerances of mass produced firearms, therefore we highly suggest that if you run into a tolerance issue to contact us at tech@gallowayprecision.com before taking it to a qualified armorer to fit the part. We also offer installation of all triggers, trigger kits, and parts that we make for a nominal fee.

Now includes a factory slip pin and factory spring rate trigger return spring.

Requires a .050 SAE allen wrench to adjust the post travel screw and Blue Loctite or Vibra-Tite to secure it. We offer a Trigger Installation Kit that includes Vibra-Tite, a .050 Allen wrench, and spare set screws. This kit is normally $10.00, but if purchased with a trigger is $8.00. Please select the Installation Kit option above.

Available in RED, BLACK, or SILVER

Fits Kimber Micro 9 and Micro 380 Pistols.

Do you make a textured version or is there the possibility of a textured version in the future? Smooth faced triggers are great for range day but not so much on the day you 'need' your firearm.

Not anything we have had requests for, if I get enough interest we will though.

No due to the pocket for the trigger return spring location we have never offered any cut out version just the standard sides. If I get enough interest I will offer it though.

I just bought this trigger and installed it today following the video, but I can't for the life of me get the trigger to reset. It's on and off. I tried the reset spring that came with it as well as the factory reset spring. Any thoughts on how to remedy this issue?

If the trigger is not resetting but is springing forward you may need to sand the top edge of the trigger where it hits the opening on the grip of the frame. The tolerances are tight on these pistols and the triggers but if they stack out just right it may not be able to swing far enough forward to reset.

What is the big advantage to this trigger. Why would someone want to install this product. Extremely curious to why?

The trigger has an adjustable trigger stop to remove the post slop after break, the flat face trigger design is more forgiving on finger placement than the curved setup as well as the trigger face is forward slightly to give better finger bend for most average hand sizes. It offers performance over the stock one as a result of all the changes to the base function of a stock trigger.

The Micro 9 pistol when I squeeze the trigger in MY hand has a tendency to raise the muzzle. My hand geometry I guess. I hated this thing when I first got it. A gun that has peculiarities is not accurate. Will this trigger change the angle of force on the trigger and stop the muzzle rise. I was actually thinking about a trigger that angles back from the top down. I have already changed the trigger and hammer springs and the helped.

The trigger is staged different due to the flat face and forward staging. I do not know if it will help with your grip issue but extending the trigger finger more may keep you from clinching it as much due to that and the overtravel limit not letting it move as far back as stock after the break. The mush after break is generally the biggest contributor to dropping the front sight.
