Canik TP9 +2 Magazine Extension

You've asked and now we're answering. Introducing our newest +2 magazine extension for the TP9. Made from carbon fiber reinforced nylon, this economical mag extension is no slouch in the engineering department, with the material being one and half times stronger than aluminum. Not only does the extension add two rounds making the mag a 20 round capacity, it also makes a nice space for your pinky to rest for a better grip. Get yours today!

Includes a cap head screw at the rear for retention. Remove the cap head screw from the top, install the extension, then turn the cap head screw clockwise until flush to keep the extension from sliding forward on the mag tube. Use a 3/32 allen wrench to make the adjustments.

Will this extension work for the 15 round magazine?

We have only tested them on the listed mag for the use with that frame grip style. The other models may have a different grip on the mag well opening so it may be different and not allow mag lock up.

2 questions.
1. I have a Mete SFX and have the included flared mag well piece installed. Will this fit?
2. My Mete is a FDE color and the base plates that came with the included mags are FDE as well. Do you offer these in FDE?

1. No, ours will not fit the mag well pistols. If it get enough interest I'll look into making one though.
2. Sorry we only offer extensions in Black.

Your competitors are compatible with mecgar Beretta 18 round magazines.

Do these add two rounds to Beretta 18 round magazines?

We have never tried them on Beretta mags sorry. If they are the same body with a different latch height or shape only to work in the beretta the extension should fit either yes.

I used this product on a mete STF with factory magazines. Even when pressing down very hard, I can only fit 17 rounds into the canik factory 18 round magazine, and only 19 rounds into the canik 20 round magazine (which is the same 18 round magazine but with he factory +2 black polymer baseplate). The good news is that this galloway +2 extension solves the problem of not being able to fit the last round. If you affix this galloway baseplate, then you can now fit that extra round, for a true 20+1. AND most importantly, the canik will chamber that 20 round magazine without issue. No springs or followers were changed, I only swapped the canik factory +2 baseplate for the galloway +2 baseplate. So for that reason, this galloway magazine +2 baseplate is well worth it! Aside from not being a perfect match appearance-wise to the mete sft (if you happen to care about that), the only other potential issue I observed is that this product is not compatible with the stock mete magwell. the galloway +2 extension will not allow you the press in the magazine far enough to lock into place. It appears you could file the top edge of the galloway baseplate down slightly, but I have not done this because I don't use the magwell so this is a non-issue for me. As far as I'm concerned this product is still a 5/5.

I want to say these products are outstanding. I bought 2 for my Canik and 3 for my Walther CCP.. I love the CCP addition . I does not add to printing.Customer service was out standing. I will be adding these to several of my existing weapons. Excellent quality and support.
