Ruger® LCP MAX® Optic Mounting Plate
We present to you the Optic Mount Plate for the LCP MAX® series of pistols. Made from aircraft grade aluminum and then hard anodized to mil spec for longevity and scratch resistance, this is the optic mount that you need to bring your LCP MAX to the next level. This no gunsmithing required mounting plate is designed to replace your rear sight, no milling of the slide required.
You have the choice to mount either a JPoint, Shield Sights RMSc, Shield Sights SMSc, Shield Sights RMS2, Burris Fastfire C, Romeo X (SORX1200 only), Holosun 507K, Holosun 407K, Holosun SCS Carry, Romeo Zero, Vortex Defender CCW, Crimson Trace CTS-1550, ADE RD3- Spike, TruGlo Micro XR21, Riton 3 MPR D2, Riton 3 Tactix MPRD, HEX Wasp, Cyelee CAT PRO, or Swampfox Sentinel.
*** The Holosun 407k and 507k can vary in the location stud height due to the different production runs. The pegs are correct for the optics listed but there can be some differences in those optics from what we have found over the last year or so. Sanding the locating studs down is the option to allow them to fit in that case.***

After installation, should the plate sit flush against the slide? Should I be able to move the whole plate up and down when properly installed?
Jul 26, 2024, 07:58The plate will have a gap to allow for the slide casting differences. If you pry on it then it will move as you are prying on it which isn't the plate failing. Tension the screw with blue loctite to around 14-16 inch pounds.

After installation the plate does not sit flush against the slide and can slightly displaced Up and Down. Holds left to right just fine. Used blue loctite and didn't notice wobble until after shooting 200 rounds.
Jul 26, 2024, 07:57They will have a gap, that is to allow for the casting differences in the slide. Tension the screw to around 14 inch pounds and apply loctite to the set screw to retain it.

This is more of a FYI. I got the optics plate for my Ruger LCP MAX. Plate is on the gun. Turns out the index pins on the plate are a little too tall and the optic will not sit flat. This can be fixed by filing the pins just a little shorter. I am mounting a Holosun 407K . I am happy with it and the order came fast. Thank You.
Apr 15, 2024, 08:51Yes we have had reports of some of the halo suns having shallow pockets. Not sure why it is hit or miss just a different casting setup I suppose. We have updated the print though and it will account for this in future production runs.

Are there any plans to make the mounting plate fit the Burris Fastfire C?
Jan 3, 2024, 15:32That will fit the plate as the plate supports the RMSC pattern which it is a copy of. Appreciate the reminder we have added it to the listings and it should update shortly.
