We present to you the Optic Mount Plate for the Security-380® pistol. Made from aircraft grade aluminum and then hard anodized to mil spec for longevity and scratch resistance, this is the optic mount that you need to bring your Security 380 to the next level. This no gunsmithing required mounting plate is designed to replace your rear sight, no milling of the slide required.

We cannot control the tolerances of mass produced firearms, therefore we highly suggest that if you run into a tolerance issue to contact us at tech@gallowayprecision.com before taking it to a qualified armorer to fit the part. We also offer installation of all triggers, trigger kits, and parts that we make for a nominal fee.

I'm interested in purchasing a red dot sight not on your list, but it has the Docter/Noblex footprint. Will it work with your mount on my Security 380? I ask because I see you say I the description it fits some other Docter/Noblex red dots.
Feb 24, 2025, 07:17If it is not listed I do not know if it will fit. I recommend selecting from the list. The plate supports the doctor footprint yes provided the optic has the correct location stud setup and bolt pattern, some do not provide for the location stud setup.

Seeing that the Holosun HS507K X2 Optic doesn't use the front mounting studs what else is supporting the optic on the adapter besides the screws? Why not make it with some sort of pocket so there's more support for the optic? This would be going on a Security 380.
Feb 3, 2025, 08:57They are not mounting studs, they are location studs to aid in holding zero should the optic be removed, the never see any force unless the screws are loose. The optic is held in place via clamping pressure just like any component would be.

Joseph KlappJun 29, 2023, 04:57The plate fits the slide perfectly. It is made to be durable but is light enough so as not to affect proper operation of the pistol. This was the only plate I saw designed specifically for this Ruger model.
Processing and shipping occurred very quick after order placement with communication on status provided to me.
I did experience an issue with shipping (carrier issue) and contacted Galloway for support. EXTREMELY pleased with the responsiveness and support by Galloway. They responded immediately with input on the best way to proceed, and assured me they would work with me to ensure satisfaction.
