Overall an easy upgrade. Customer service was great. Long story short, my order was screwed up, but Galloway's fixed it right up and sent my part out that day. Would defiantly order from them again !!

Absolutely incredible upgrade. Not only "bomb proofs" the mechanism (as the description says) adding peace of mind and confidence the gun will perform when needed, but it also completely transforms the pull of the of slide to a clean, silky smooth feel. If you have an RAP or a RAPc, do yourself a favor and get this part. Remember to rack the slide a bunch just before you install it to really appreciate the before and after.

I just installed the part and the difference in the trigger is felt, I estimate that between three quarters to a pound difference in the pull. Nice upgrade.

Oh boy! If you have a Ruger American Pistol you need this upgrade! Installation is so simple and it is just what the trigger needed, it makes the pull weight lighter and so smooth! Just buy it!!

The steel striker guide was a great upgrade for my Ruger the trigger pull was smoother it’s shot more accurately because of that I recommend a small wooden dowel to keep the holes aligned while you set the pin other than that it was very easy to install and was an obvious must have for my Ruger

Just installed mine on my compact 9 and theres less vibration during the trigger pull and its somewhat smoother.
Didnt notice a lighter pull and almost seems a tad heavier right at the wall,but anything before that is absolutely a improvement and I 100 percent suggest this upgrade and from my suggestion to another compact 9 owner he has ordered one also.

Easy to install, and as advertised, it did reduce my trigger pull by a little over 1 pound. I will be getting another one soon for my wife's pistol.
