Sigurd Short Stroke Trigger for Ruger® LCP® II 380 and 22lr Pistols
Introducing the Galloway Precision Sigurd trigger for LCP® II 380 and 22lr pistols. With a built in pre travel stop, integrated safety blade, and redesigned geometry of the swing will really take your LCP® II to a new level of preparedness and action by removing around 20% to 25% of the pre travel of the trigger (depending on the tolerances of your particular pistol) making follow up shots faster. Coming in Black or Red anodized aircraft grade aluminum with a 3D printed ballistic nylon safety blade this is a must have upgrade for your LCP® II. Get yours today!
We have had some requests for a Raw version of this for those that would like to apply a finish of their choosing. So we are now offering RAW as a finish choice. The Raw version does not have the safety blade preinstalled so you can apply your selected finish without coating the blade. Safety Blade installation instructions are available here. Please keep in mind these will need to be coated in clear or a color of your choice, and once coated with your finish the trigger will be non-returnable. The Red and Black versions are anodized with the safety blade installed.
We've also had some requests for an Aluminum Safety Blade. We are now offering both the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Nylon we have been using for over 6 years and the new Black Anodized Aluminum Safety Blade. The aluminum version is an additional $5.00. Please use the drop down to select which safety blade you prefer.
Available in Black, Red, or Raw.
Fits Ruger® LCP® II 380 and 22lr Pistols.
As always, proudly made right here in the USA.
We strive to make all parts we manufacture to be drop in, although there is the rare occasion where a part will HAVE to be fitted to the tolerances of your particular pistol. We cannot control the tolerances of mass produced firearms, therefore we highly suggest that if you run into a tolerance issue to contact us at tech@gallowayprecision.com before taking it to a qualified armorer to fit the part. We also offer installation of all triggers, trigger kits, and parts that we make for a nominal fee.

Good Morning,
I installed the Galloway Precision Lite-Rack spring kit and the Sigurd Trigger on a customers LCP II 22lr. The issue I am having is that you can "pull-through" the magazine disconnect. Meaning, if the magazine is not in the pistol, you can still pull the trigger hard enough and the hammer will fall. Is this normal?Apr 8, 2024, 08:25The mag disconnect is removed in the install of the trigger, it does not work with the new trigger.

have a Ruger 380 max and have a big problem with the finger pinching it is both bottom and top but worse on top. does your replacement trigger solve the top pinching also ?. Watched the install instructions and thank you for that but as much as i hesitate to be critical i feel i have to. I realize the person doing it has done it a million times but I have not and it is very hard to follow and must be watched multible times, When showing a particular operation more than a 1/4 second shot of it would help. the whole video is done extremely fast and hard to follow. But again thank you for the video.
Nov 13, 2023, 09:41I've only had one other person ask about pinching at the top, the trigger is meant to prevent it at the bottom but the built in pre travel limit takes up space above the trigger face so there shouldn't be anywhere for the finger to fit in the opening since it is partially filled already. As for the video is brief and concise yes, no reason to make it longer when you can pause or back up easily at any point as needed.
Thanks,
Eric -

Seems like a long time to get red triggers back in stock. What is going on?
Jul 18, 2023, 08:44Production is going on, we have 5 cnc mills running parts in house and are trying to keep up with demand. The coating process takes 10 business days when it goes smoothly and they have staffing to do it. Please email debbie@gallowayprecision.com for notification once we get them back from coating.

is the raw trigger chrome looking or white
May 11, 2023, 10:25It is raw aluminum so it is silver, it needs to be cleaned and coated/painted prior to install.

Alex S.Mar 25, 2024, 12:58This trigger upgrade is a thing of beauty. Aside from its aesthetic appeal, the shortened trigger pull feels just right now, making follow-up shots more fluid while still retaining a margin of safety with the amount of travel left. Removing and reseating the FCU is a MAJOR pain in my LCP II 22LR, but once you get past that doing the actual swap of the stock trigger for this upgrade was surprisingly easier than I had anticipated.

ClintFeb 19, 2024, 19:56I very seldom leave reviews, but I was so impressed by this trigger (especially compared to its competitor) that I had to. I bought another brand trigger for the LCP max that was more expensive and then decided, WTH, ill by this one for my LCP II since it was cheaper anyways. The difference was incredible. This trigger has virtually no pre-travel or over travel, great feel and great look. It was so good that I have already bought another one to replace that other brand on my LCP Max, despite the fact that I will probably not be able to return that other brand. This trigger is that good. This trigger is machined with the pre-travel limiter, in comparison to the other brand that uses a screw, which is not even sufficient to limit anywhere close to the way this one does. Excellent trigger! I am now looking for anything else Galloway Precision makes that I can use.

John HDec 9, 2022, 22:05Once again, Galloway finishes what Ruger started. The LCP II has the worst trigger I've ever had on a gun. With the Galloway trigger and spring kit, the LCP II trigger is now very nice and breaks when expected. Worth every cent.

JamieOct 31, 2022, 01:23Purchased and installed the sigurd trigger and spring kit. It was a challenge, even with the well done video galloway has for us. I searched it directly on YouTube since the web page wasn't clear on my phone. The lcp ii 22 is just so darn small.
To just send them the gun is reasonable, but I wanted to give this a shot first so I took on the project myself. There were moments I thought I was over my head with this thing.
The lcp ii is a decent gun, but the upgrades make it a much more reliable, better quality gun. If ruger just sent it to galloway right off the bat, it would be an awesome upgrade. -
Donald HJun 30, 2022, 14:59Just installed the Sigurd Short Stroke Trigger on my Ruger LCP II Lite Rack 22lr…unbelievable difference…!!! Also installed spring kit…took care of lite strikes…FTE’s…Ruger should just buy these from Galloway and factory install them…!!!
