This follower is a must have for anyone who owns a SR22® and wants to add a few more rounds to the plinking sessions, competition shooting, and yes even everyday carry. Made from carbon fiber reinforced nylon, this economical mag follower is no slouch in the engineering department, with the material being one and half times stronger than aluminum, 3D printed right here in Fletcher, North Carolina. Do you know if this would possibly work with the Tandemkross pluse 5 extension? If so, would it get possibly 18 rounds in the magazine?

I ordered 2 of these. They lock the slide back, but disable the slide release. I have to drop the mag and pull back on the slide to release it. According to description, these aren't supposed to lock the slide back. Any fix for this strange issue?

That is very odd, the back should be a smooth angle on the follower. Does it have the smooth angle on the follower or is there a ledge that goes out on the lower end of the follower like a car wing? If so we mixed up and sent you P22 followers. Please check that and let me know. Or take a picture of the rear of the follower and send it to admin@gallowayprecision.com and we can confirm which follower we sent.

Hi - Does this extend the length of the magazine? Or does it just make it possible to store more rounds in the existing space?

It does not add any length, it does remove the loading tab which disables the slide lock feature.

They install by removing the base pad, dropping the spring plate and spring out, drop the follower down till the thumb loader tab can be slid out and the follower dropped out. Install the new follower, the spring, the spring pad and base pad.

No the follower requires the thumb loader tab to be removed, the tab is what works the slide lock.
