Stainless Recoil Spring Assembly for SAR USA SAR9 Compact Pistols

Add weight to reduce muzzle flip and decrease follow up shot time of your SAR USA SAR9 C with our Assembled Stainless Steel Guide Rod. Also allows use of different spring rates to tune the pistol to your needs and handloads. Our Recoil Springs are made for us by ISMI, a leader in the spring market here in the U.S.A, to our specifications. Just got a sar9 socom compact with threaded barrel and regular compact 4 inch barrel. 200 rounds on each barrel with 115 gr. was a disaster. Firearm failed to eject at least 10 empty casings and they got stuck between halfway. I don’t know the factory specs on the spring but should i go with 18lbs? And would this item fit sar9 socom COMPACT?

It should fit as long as it is a compact model. I would try some 124 grain as it is typically higher pressure ammo and it may be sprung different than the standard compact. The failure to extract and eject suggests low pressure ammo or weak grip. A tight chamber can also be a cause typically if your trying to use steel cased. If you want to try a lower rate spring I would suggest going lower than stock and try our 16 or 14 as the standard model is 16 and tends to cycle 115 reasonable well provided the 115 is in the 9x19 pressure range.

Just purchased SAR9c Gen3, what is the stock factory guide rod spring rating?

Same as the previous ones as far as we have info on.

Will this fit the new SAR 9 subcompact gen2? Want to order the 14lb spring to run a micro comp. Just not sure if the stock spring will cycle efficiently with a light weight 2 port micro compensator.

Yes this is for compact. We haven not had or heard of a gen 2 version but they are constantly changing parts in the SAR line for some reason.

Will the stainless steel guide rail fit the Sar9t?

This is the rod for the Sar9 compact it will not fit the 9t version. We offer one for the full size SAR9 and the different versions on under the SAR9 rod.

I was wondering if this might solve the cycling problem common to this pistol? I've tried 115gr and 147gr and get a jam aprox every 25 to 30 rounds. Or do you know why this happens with this gun? Thank you.

The bulk 115 is low pressure and the 147 is naturally low pressure. The SAR 9 is intended to run full pressure or high pressure ammo so it is sprung to cycle that. The lower pressure bulk ammo does not have enough energy to cycle it. Going to a lower spring rate will help if your having trouble cycling cheap bulk practice ammo that is typically low pressure charge.
