Ruger® Security 9® Optic Mounting Plate
We present to you the Optic Mount Plate for the Security 9® series of pistols. Made from aircraft grade aluminum and then hard anodized to mil spec for longevity and scratch resistance, this is the optic mount that you need to bring your Security 9 to the next level. This no gunsmithing required mounting plate is designed to replace your rear sight, no milling of the slide required.

Do NOT use the metric screws that came with your optic, we provide both Button Head Cap screws and Flat Head Cap screws in the correct thread size for our Optic Mount Plate to mount your optic to our plate. Screw head type selection is determined by the type needed for your particular optic. A 5/64th hex wrench is required to remove the factory rear sight. ***

Received the plate last week. My optic arrived today. Holosun 407A3 X2. They are not compatible. Do you make one that is?

Will it work on the new Ruger Ready Dot sight?

Will this work with a Cyelee Wolf X Pro which says it uses the RMR/407C/507C footprint?

Brad IMar 30, 2021, 13:44Like everyone else, this optic mounting plate fit perfectly on my Security 9 Compact. I purchased a $75 ADE optic on Amazon, and it fit perfectly as well. I'm a retiree on a limited budget so I buy most things as inexpensively as I can. This worked out well for me. I was a little concerned because the Hi Viz LIGHTWAVE sights I purchased first did not fit at all. When this mount fit right on my Ruger I was relieved. Now I don't have to think about spending $400-500 for an MOS pistol. Money I don't have anyway.
