The Hannibal Adjustable Trigger for Sig Sauer SP2022 and SP2340 Pistols
The Hannibal Adjustable Trigger
Back by Popular Demand!
Many of you have asked for a way to adjust out some of the pre and post travel on your Sig Sauer and we have delivered. Reintroducing the Galloway Precision Hannibal trigger for the SP2022 and SP2340 line of pistols. With adjustable pre and post travel you'll remove around 25%, or more depending on the tolerances of your particular pistol, and helps with the trigger bite associated with the .40 S&W version of the pistol. Allen wrench required to adjust pre and post travel set screws is a .050. Made of 4340 Chrome-Moly and Black Oxided for longevity, this is the trigger you've been needing to take your Sig to the next level. So mount your elephant and conquer your enemies with the new Hannibal.
Now available in Flat Faced or Curved Faced options.
Fits Sig Sauer SP2022 and SP2340 Pistols.
As always, proudly made right here in the USA.
We strive to make all parts we manufacture to be drop in, although there is the rare occasion where a part will HAVE to be fitted to the tolerances of your particular pistol. We cannot control the tolerances of mass produced firearms, therefore we highly suggest that if you run into a tolerance issue to contact us at tech@gallowayprecision.com before taking it to a qualified armorer to fit the part. We also offer installation of all triggers, trigger kits, and parts that we make for a nominal fee.
*** Your trigger pivot pin may come out the opposite side from the one in this video. If your grommet for trigger pivot pin is on the opposite side, drive from the side the grommet is on. ***

So I have a Sig Sauer sp 2022, my gunsmith says i don't need that 2nd screw bottom on the trigger? what is that 2nd screw for and do i need it ?
Oct 9, 2024, 08:06It is the post travel screw to limit post travel. What he probably means is your fire control stack out puts the break right at the back of the trigger so he can't adjust it much which can happen on these due to tolerance stack out of the fire control parts.

Does the trigger kit come with installation screws, or do you have to order that separate?
Jan 15, 2024, 13:33The trigger comes with the screws yes, you will need to provide loctite or vibratite to the screws though.

Matt McDermottJul 11, 2021, 23:16I bought my SP2022 9mm used and it had a ton of slop in the trigger. After installing this trigger, it is like a completely different gun. There is now zero play in DA and it resets almost instantly in both DA and SA. Installation was easier than expected when following the video here, but definitely note which side your trigger pin grommet is on as mine was on the opposite side as the one in the video. I highly recommend the Hannibal trigger for every Sig SP2022.

Joel KmetzJun 30, 2021, 09:52Installed the Hannibal Trigger on my SP2022 in mid-2017, about 3.5 years ago as of this review. Ran at least 3000 rounds through the gun since then without a hiccup. The wider trigger and overtravel adjustment on the Hannibal made all the difference. Followed the video and installation was easy. Made the great Sig SP2022 even better!

Robert ForcierJan 2, 2021, 20:58When I bought this for my SIG SP2340 I wasn't expecting much from this trigger. I was not convinced it would improve the trigger much as it just eliminates pre-travel and over-travel. Was I ever wrong! This made a HUGE difference and notably improved my accuracy with this gun. Another thing I liked about this trigger that they don't advertise is that it is wider and flatter than the stock trigger. It seems to help placing your finger properly on the trigger. Not hard to install. Definitely worth getting!!!

CharlesMar 7, 2020, 10:20Installed the Hannibal on a retired police 2340 357 Sig, came back to get one for my 2022. The Hannibal along with a Sig 2022 parts kit has got the 2340 on the road again.

DwightFeb 19, 2020, 22:21Great upgrade. Eliminated all side to side play in my firearm (tried another that did not have as much side to side play as mine) and pre-travel. My trigger had imperceptible post travel. Trigger feels solid and improved.
Video made install and adjustment fairly easy for a beginner. Highly recommend.
