M&P 380 Shield EZ +1 Magazine Extension
You've asked and now we're answering. Introducing our newest +1 magazine extension for Shield EZ pistols. Made from carbon fiber reinforced nylon, this economical mag extension is no slouch in the engineering department, with the material being one and half times stronger than aluminum. Not only does the extension add one round to your 380 Shield magazine, it also makes a nice space for your pinky to rest for a better grip. Get yours today!
Includes a set screw on the top rear for retention. Tighten the set screw clockwise until flush with the extension shoulder to allow clearance for the mag tube shoulder, install the extension, then turn the set screw counter-clockwise a turn or two to block the mag tube shoulder to keep the extension from sliding forward. Use a .050 allen wrench to make the adjustments.
*** Our extension deletes the thumb drive lever and will disable the slide lock lever on last shot. To fit the extra round the follower needs to travel more than stock travel, so the thumb loader/slide lock lever has to be removed to allow this.
*** Need of an .050 Allen Wrench? Please select it from the drop-down before adding the Extension to the cart. If you are ordering more than 1 Extension and need only 1 Allen Wrench please add 1 with an ".050 Allen Wrench" to the cart and then click the "Continue shopping" button to return to the listing and select "No Allen Wrench" and add the additional quantity of Mag Extensions needed to the cart. Tools are non-refundable. ***
Listing is for one +1 Magazine Extension, Follower, and Base Pad. Magazine is Not included.
Fits Smith & Wesson M&P 380 Shield EZ Factory Magazines.
As always, proudly made right here in the USA.
*** A 20% restocking fee will be applied on returned magazine extensions that have been installed. Non-installed parts will receive a full refund (minus return shipping). ***

Can you make a +2 extended to have a 10+1 mag for more capacity? Id buy at least 3 instantly
Aug 19, 2024, 08:08We have considered it but a new spring is needed for that amount of round count to allow for proper feeding. Just haven't due to the increased cost of the spring.

If I am correct the extension is only allowing one more round. I am a fairly new shooter and i have a hard time shoting with 8 rounds. I normally have to shoot with 7 rounds. The extension would allow me to shoot 8 rounds. Is there any possibility in the future we could see a mag allowing 10+ rounds.
Sep 21, 2023, 07:54Yes the extension only adds one round to the magazine once you remove the loading tab and add the extension. At this time we haven't had any interest in a larger addition extension but if we get enough interest we will look into it.

Easy to install but I did notice when I have total of 9 ammo installed and I put in the mag on a close slide, I really need to slam the mag. Once the mag is installed, the slide is hard to rack. Seems the slide is rubbing on something. But if I install the mag on an open slide, it has no issue. why is that?
Sep 12, 2022, 08:05The spring pressure when fully loaded is the same as stock, slapping the mag to seat it is normal.

Marshal SHLAFERFeb 7, 2022, 18:28Very well made, works as advertised, The price is good, although now that I think more about things I don’t know whether gaining +1 round with an already small mag capacity is all that worthwhile in a practical sense. (That problem is mine, has nothing to do with a fine product.) Installation was super easy, but be sure to watch the video before you start the process. In summary: excellent!
