You've asked and now we're answering. Introducing the +3 Magazine Extension for the Security 380® pistol series. Made from carbon fiber reinforced nylon, this economical mag extension is no slouch in the engineering department, with the material being one and half times stronger than aluminum. This extension adds 3 rounds making the pistol a 18+1 now. Get yours today!

Installation: We recommend the use of Blue Loctite on the retaining screw. Remove the factory base pad by inserting a punch into the hole in the factory base to push the spring pad and mag spring up to allow the base pad to slide forward and off the mag tube. Make sure to place your thumb under the mag tube while removing the base pad so the spring pad and spring don't go shooting off. Remove the factory spring pad / mag spacer by sliding it down and out of the mag tube. While holding the spring up in the mag tube, slide the extension in place from the front of the mag tube until fully seated. Slide the replacement mag spacer / retainer into the mag tube behind the mag spring and under the new extension. Screw the retaining screw clockwise up through the mag spacer / retainer into the base of the new extension. Once the retaining screw is snugged up you are all set.

    Is this extension durable enough for carry or is this intended for competition or range fun?

    It will work for either, carry use for the average person is rarely as rough as competition use with the mags being dropped and stepped on while loaded unloaded in gravel or concrete floors during competitive use.
