Are you ready to become one with your Taurus Revolver? Good, because this spring kit does that in spades. With a 15% reduction in the spring rate from the stock springs you will have a nice smooth 5lb to 6lb Double Action pull and a clean 2.5lb to 3.5lb Single Action pull, depending on the tolerances of your particular pistol. Our spring kits are made to last from actual High Quality Chrome Silicon and not inferior Music Wire like other kits on the market. Made to our specs from ISMI, a leader in spring manufacturing for Formula One as well as the firearm industry.
Will this affect reliability you ask? We test fired with quality off the shelf ammunition without a single issue through several wheels (Note this does NOT include reloads). We don't test reloads in pistols due to the wide variance of primers used and loads used. WE ONLY TEST WITH FACTORY MADE OFF THE SHELF AMMUNITION. If you are using cheap hard primer ammo you may experience reliability issues. Again, high quality off the shelf ammo is recommended.

Greg CookAug 13, 2025, 17:34Fantastic upgrade. I'm not technically inclined, but I did get through this installation process. The video made all the difference of getting through it. I did need a second person for the trigger spring - paper clip thing for the reinstall.
The reduced springs make the DA/SA feel so much better and easier. Even my 84 year old mom can pull the trigger with the new springs in DA. Just a super fantastic little revolver now :) -

Dropped the SA trigger weight from 3.4lb average to 2.0lb and the DA average from 9.13 to 6.6. -
Denny WilsonDec 31, 2024, 19:36Wow what a difference this spring kit made.Bought my wife the 856 ul body guard for Christmas, and she was like others after about 2 to 3 shots she was handing it back to me,said the trigger was so hard she couldn't shoot anymore. Well you take a New gun and shoot it ,and then go back to trade for something else you will take a beating on trade in. I saw this kit and decided to try it, the price was great and about 30min of installing, took it for the wife to shoot.She had a big smile on her face after first shot, said Wow what ever you done sure made a world of difference ,no more hard stiff trigger. Thanks guys,saved me alot of money and having to trade for something else. Most folks I talked with said nothing you can do for a revolver, but these guys at Galloway sure made a difference in this kit,I would Highly recommend this kit for anyone wanting a much easier trigger pull. JasonNov 13, 2024, 13:31I purchased these springs for my wife's 856 after watching several reviews on YouTube about how this reduces the overall fatigue and strain versus the stock springs. We initially chalked it up to the revolver "needing to be broken in", but after several hundred rounds through it, and not a whole lot of improvement we were close to just selling the thing. I gotta say - it feels like a whole new revolver now! Unlike before, she is able to pull the hammer back easily with a single thumb (not two!) and reports no fatigue from repeated firings in dual action! As a bonus, the firing seems somehow "smoother" than before and less gritty. We are both very pleased with the little revolver now!
