Introducing the Optic Mount Plate for GX4, G3c, and small dovetail G3 pistols. Made from aircraft grade aluminum and then hard anodized to mil spec for longevity and scratch resistance, this is the optic mount that you need to bring your Taurus to the next level. Now available in Black or Red anodized finish. This no gunsmithing required mounting plate is designed to replace your rear sight, no milling of the slide required.

Hi, what is the thickness of the mounting plate, for Taurus G3c with Burris red dot.
The plate that I have now is to thin to make adjustment for up and downApr 1, 2024, 09:25The plate thickness doesn't affect adjusting, it will not cowitess with the front sight. The point of impact will be bore over height and not point of aim. The plate is .120 thick depending on the model it is for.

How do you mount it in the rear sight position?
Oct 18, 2023, 08:29You remove the rear sight and install the plate in its place. The plate should be drop in for the nominal size but minor fitting of the plate to the slide tolerance could be needed depending on the slide the plate is going on. An 8-32 set screw is in the plate to apply additional tension for the plate to be retained.
