+3 Magazine Extension for Taurus G3 and G3c Pistols
Introducing the Galloway Precision +3 Magazine Extension for the G3 Series of Pistols. Made from carbon fiber reinforced nylon, this economical mag extension is no slouch in the engineering department, with the material being one and half times stronger than aluminum. Our magazine extension adds three rounds. Get yours today!
*** There are two different extensions available, one for the 15 round mag and one for the 17 round mag. These are NOT interchangeable. Please select the correct magazine capacity to insure you receive the proper extension. Exchanges between 15 and 17 round are subject to a $3.00 shipping charge. ***
Includes a cap head screw and cap on the top front for retention. Remove the retaining screw and cap, slide the mag tube on to the extension while holding the spring pad and mag spring inside the mag tube, then reinstall the cap and snug it up using the cap head screw to the top of the extension body to keep the extension from sliding forward. There is no need to over-tighten the set screw. Use a 3/32nd allen wrench to make the adjustments.

Iseen the question but don’t understand the answer so ppl are asking because the G2c 17 and 15 rd mags are exactly the same as the g3 17 and 15 mags so meaning the extensions should work also for those mags right ? Everything is the same with both mags don’t care if the sleeves fit or not only need to know that the extensions will fit ?

Revisiting a question from about a year ago. Will this extension fit a 12 rd G3C magazine? I sincerely hope it will. If not, do you make one that will?
May 18, 2023, 09:07No it is for the listed mag only due to the angle difference in the shoulders. I have had interest in the 12 round mag so I will get it up on the project board.

Do you have to switch the springs out and if it does does it come with one

Dr Mark Fryfogle -Update 11-30-2023Nov 25, 2023, 20:20I bought one of these for my G3X 17 round magazine. It's nice to have a 20 + 1 capacity. The extentions looks good and is easy to put together. I'm going to buy one for one for my 15 round magazines for an 18 + 1 capacity. This extension can be used with a 17 or 15 round magazine.
I purchased an additional magazine extension for my G3X 15 round mag. Spoke to Charles at Galloway Percision. Charles pointed out that there is a bit of a difference in hight in the +3 extension for my 15 round vs the extension for the 17 round extension. Upon receiving the +3 for the 15, I could not tell any difference between the 2. It was easy to put together and of good quality. I like the look of the extension as well. Holds 18 rounds just fine, not too tight and not loose at all.Galloway PrecisionDec 1, 2023, 10:08Glad they both worked out well. The 15 round and 17 round magazines have different elevation angles, making the 15 round 3/16th inch taller and that is the difference between the two. -
