TX22 Delatorre Short Stroke Trigger

Introducing the Delatorre Flat Faced Short Stroke Trigger. The Delatorre Trigger shortens your TX22 pull length by 30% or more, depending on your pistols tolerances. This trigger makes staying on target easy and follow up shots faster. Made of Aluminum for lasting quality. Our short stroke trigger has a flat face and change in geometry with the added bonus of adjustable pre and post travel stops allowing you to dial in that stroke. Hard Anodized in your choice of Black or Red.

Post-travel adjustment requires an .050 Allen Wrench. If you are in need of one please add it in the drop down options. We also have a Trigger Install Kit that includes Vibratite, .050 Allen Wrench, and extra set screws available, tech@gallowayprecision.com before taking it to a qualified armorer to fit the part. We also offer installation of all triggers, trigger kits, and parts that we make for a nominal fee.

Fits Taurus TX22 Pistols. (TX22 Full Size, TX22 Compact, TX22 Competition, TX22 RDS T.O.R.O., and TX22 RDS)

Is the trigger pull less than 2 lbs and do you offer a trigger spring to reduce trigger pull weight ?

Triggers do not alter pull weight. They are just triggers that you operate. The pull rate is altered by the springs and sear/striker/hammer relationships. We do offer a reduced power striker spring to reduce the rate slightly but it will not be 2lbs.

Would this function properly with the frt being shorter travel ? Or would it mess with the cycle rate ?

Triggers do not alter cyclic rate in the forced reset realm. The trigger is adjustable for each pistol to allow for tolerances in the fire control components. It allows you to adjust out unneeded pre and post travel for a shorter trigger pull while still maintaining the blocker function when released to rest position on the trigger.

I saw that this does eliminate the weird trigger toggle system. However, does it retain striker block safety? I imagine you can keep that if you don’t crank down the pretravel.

The trigger doesn't alter the blocker safety when installed and set.

If the knurled pin is driven into the side of the trigger to install it. Can it be removed and later reinstalled if I have to remove your trigger to send my pistol to Taurus for warranty work?

    Thanks

Provided you drive it out the correct side yes it shouldn't be an issue.

The trigger I ordered from you for my TX22 Gen 2 TORO just arrived. I don't see mention in your written installation instructions of the pin that protrudes from the left side of the new trigger. It is not a roll pin nor a solid steel pin nor is it threaded. Is this supposed to be flush with the side of the trigger at then end of installation. If so, how is it made flushed? Tapped in?

    Thanks for any help.

It is a knurled pin so it is a drive fit, it cuts into the trigger and locks in when you drive it flat.

The additional adjustment screws along with the .050 wrench kit -ARE- a valuable consideration. The screws are very small, and if you are tempted to use threadlocker that is already on your workbench, reconsider that also. Normal -BLUE- locktite could get you in trouble (I'd wish't that I scouted up my -PURPLE- version before starting). The trigger's difference in feel & travel/reset versus the OE Gen2 is simply night and day, and unlike the competition's aluminum option, you can adjust BOTH screws on an assembled frame.
I think it just looks better too, without the excessive cross-hatch on the trigger face and the abrupt edges/corners everywhere else.

Amazing trigger! I have all my edc guns with custom triggers and hands down the best. Even better than Canik Stock trigger. That's speaking volumes!

Best tx22 trigger on the market. Makes my tandemkross trigger feel mediocre. Now I will have to replace my other 2 tx22 triggers with this one. 5 stars!

This is by far the best trigger I have ever ordered for theTX-22. You can adjust it after it is installed so that you can really dial it in. If you own a TX-22 and want to change the trigger out, then look no further. This is it.
