Seneschal Short Stroke Trigger for Ruger® Security-9® and Security-380® Pistols
Introducing the Galloway Precision Seneschal trigger for the Security series of pistols. During the times of the Templars the Seneschal was second in command only to the Grand Master, which is fitting for the Solomon trigger for the old LC9® / LC380® kit to be reissued as the Seneschal for the Security-9 and Security-380. With a built in pre travel stop, integrated safety blade, and redesigned geometry of the swing will really take your Security-9 to a new level of preparedness and action by removing around 20% to 25% of the pre travel of the trigger (depending on the tolerances of your particular pistol) making follow up shots faster. Coming in Black or Red anodized aircraft grade aluminum with a 3D printed ballistic nylon safety blade this is a must have upgrade for your Security Pistol. Get yours today!
Available in Black or Red.
Fits Ruger® Security-9® Full Size and Compact, and Security-380® Pistols.
As always, proudly made right here in the USA.
We strive to make all parts we manufacture to be drop in, although there is the rare occasion where a part will HAVE to be fitted to the tolerances of your particular pistol. We cannot control the tolerances of mass produced firearms, therefore we highly suggest that if you run into a tolerance issue to contact us at tech@gallowayprecision.com before taking it to a qualified armorer to fit the part. We also offer installation of all triggers, trigger kits, and parts that we make for a nominal fee.

Hello Galloway. I am interested in one of your short stroke triggers for my Ruger Security 380. My question is, can you anodize the aluminum on the trigger, the color gold? I cant use red or black the way that my pistol is configured. Thank you either way Galloway!
Nov 7, 2024, 09:45Sorry we only offer the colors listed. We do them in bulk color runs to keep costs low.

Will you install the trigger at Galloway, I do not have a lot of experience working on pistols (Yet) I am learning. I do not want to scrape up or do any damage to my gun. I want to keep it in excellent shape.

On your site, you state that the best ammo for self protection is the gold dot P+. The manual specifically say to not fire any P* ammo the security 9 is not made to shoot that kind of pressure??
Apr 1, 2024, 08:40They also make it in standard pressure, you just have to check the box for which version it is.

CoyoteAug 9, 2024, 18:43I was getting considerable trigger bite from stock trigger and decided to try this and I love the more natural angle and now have no more trigger bite. The pull force hasn't changed and it wasn't ever an issue, but the total travel has been reduced about 15 - 20%. Haven't had a single issue with this and it makes firing this pistol so much more enjoyable. The installation video was of great help and made the whole process straightforward and easy. If you aren't crazy about the original trigger, then this is a good replacement.

Michael HatchMar 30, 2024, 11:03I have the replacement 20lb stainless Steel guide rod replaced the stock 17lb plastic one. I was always worried on a colder Morning that the plastic might break. My buddy has a Glock 19 and on a Saturday Morning his Glock plastic guide rode snapped. I don’t know if that is something that can happen but for piece of mind I replaced mine decided to go just a little more weight stock one is 17 and I went 20lb I believe it actually gives me a little more control when I fire the gun. Not that it was a big deal but Less muzzle flip is better. I think I will follow that up with the new trigger? I hear it has improved placement on the target, if I am in a hurry I seem to pull a bit left once in a while.

JakeApr 23, 2023, 08:57All I can say is WOW! This trigger made such a difference. Install was actually very simple and straight forward. I Followed along the video.
The old trigger pull was so long always felt like my shots were ending slightly to the left and I would compensate my shots to the right. Now I was able to 🎯 every single shot. -
Jonathan BApr 6, 2023, 19:58EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Misplaced spring that puts tension on the slide stop (I didn't know it was missing until later), and trigger wasn't returning far enough forward on return. One email and Eric pointed out absence of spring and gave me tip to get trigger working perfectly. I had to get on my hands and knees but finally found the dang spring (makes contact with slide stop lever) and as directed, I removed just a very small fraction of metal with 500gr sandpaper and some gun oil. Works like a dream now on dry firing. Will report back here after range day! Thank you for helping me with this, Eric! You're a life saver!
