I purchased a P22 about 20 years ago. Will the stainless steel captured recoil spring work.
Feb 6, 2024, 09:26Should, the only issue we see with the original ones is the hole is small or has casting debris where the rod comes out and has to be cleaned or brought up to standard size for the captured rod. They apparently do not drill/ream the rod hole and it is as cast in the older ones.

I have a P22q. The Walther website says this guide rod will fit but yours says it won’t fit. My P22q is a new model as of 2021, it has a captured spring. Will yours fit?

Is the spring weight lighter than the original uncaptured spring? I'm trying to find a lighter spring to help with feeding issues with my p22.
