Will this fit the LCP Max version with the 3" barrel? Normal models have the 2.8" barrel. Thanks.

Why does this have a round top that engages I. The barrel vs the OEM flat top? Any reason to it?

What is the difference between this and the stock rod?
Dec 10, 2021, 10:01Material is the difference, basically just your preferred material. The stock one is a blacked mild steel, ours is stainless. Some folks prefer the stainless for corrosion resistance in certain environments or with carry.

Weight difference from OEM?
What is the OEM rod made of ?Nov 24, 2021, 15:12The metals are basically the same weight. I have no idea what the stock material is, 1100 series is my guess as they black it.

Jon LDec 1, 2023, 09:45Purchased & installed the Sigurd Max Short Trigger, 13lb outer recoil spring, stainless steel guide rod for the LCP Max. Noticeable improvement to trigger take-up and pinch/blister of OEM trigger, upon reassembly. Same immediate difference was noted with the outer recoil spring, when racking the slide. Looking forward to the performance results at the range. ***Must note: the instructional video is indeed too fast and doesn't point out key details of reassembly. Another YouTube install video was needed as a supplement, for myself as a first time gunsmith.
