Introducing the Galloway Precision Asger Short Stroke Trigger for the Sub-2000 Gen-1/Gen-2 series of carbine rifles. Asger in old Norse means Spear of God, which is fitting for the perfect self defense car/truck rifle. With adjustable pre and post travel, this is the only trigger on the market that will give you the shortest trigger pull available for this rifle. We cannot control the tolerances of mass produced firearms, therefore we highly suggest that if you run into a tolerance issue to contact us at tech@gallowayprecision.com before taking it to a qualified armorer to fit the part. Is this trigger as weak and flexible as the OEM? Or is it stiff like a metal trigger?

Our carbon fiber trigger is stronger than the thin nylon one used stock. We also offer these triggers in Aluminum if you want that option.

it is a trigger, the break weight and resistance is created by the sear to hammer engagement. The SA break of the actions on these tends to be nice and the trigger gives the best interface to get there.

Does it just reduce trigger pull length or trigger pull poundage? And do you have to replace trigger spring to reduce trigger pull from around 8 -9 lbs to 4 or 5 lbs?

Just the pull length. You'll need springs to drop the pull weight.

Great upgrade. Installed in my gen 1 sub2k along with the lighter spring kit from mcarbo. Very happy with the trigger now, short pull, quick reset, great feel. Really changes the gun feel. If you're going to do just 1 thing to your sub, do this trigger. Very worthwhile, no more creep or flex. Better upgrade than the aluminum triggers from the other guys.
