TX22 Competition Assembled Stainless Steel Guide Rod
Our Taurus TX22 Competition guide rods are made of Stainless Steel and come pre-assembled to your spring rate selection. Our guide rod assemblies allow the use of different spring rates to tune the pistol to your needs and handloads. The Flat Wound Recoil Springs are made for us by ISMI, a leader in the spring market here in the U.S.A, to our specifications. Made on the same machines that make springs for Formula 1 and IndyCar race cars, made exclusively with aerospace specification alloys. Made from Chrome Silicon Spring Wire, the only choice for a longer lasting, more enjoyable shooting experience verses inferior Music Wire springs.
We offer fully assembled units captured like factory in 11lb, 13lb (factory spring rate), or 15lb spring rates. The 11lb reduced spring rate helps cycle better for lower pressure loads.
Comes with your choice of Polished Stainless or Blacked Stainless Retainer.

Will this fit the tx22 competition scr with the comp. Because the spring screw seems to poke out the front a little more than the factory spring.
Sep 24, 2024, 07:53If you have a comp model it will fit. The rod is the same stick out as stock, the button head screw is slightly taller than the factory rod end. Nothing odd about it or anything that affects function.

Is the 11 LB spring meant for subsonic rounds only? Thanks in advance
May 22, 2024, 12:54The lower rate will help with sub sonic rounds typically yes.
