SCCY CPX-3 and CPX-4 +3 Mag Extension
You've asked and now we're answering. Introducing our newest +3 magazine extension for the SCCY 380 pistol series. Made from carbon fiber reinforced nylon, this economical mag extension is no slouch in the engineering department, with the material being one and half times stronger than aluminum. Not only does the extension add 3 rounds to your factory 10 round magazine, it also makes a nice space for your pinky to rest for a better grip. Get yours today!
Includes a set screw on the top rear for retention. Tighten the set screw clockwise until flush with the extension shoulder to allow clearance for the mag tube shoulder, install the extension, then turn the set screw counter-clockwise a turn or two to block the mag tube shoulder to keep the extension from sliding forward. Use a .050 allen wrench to make the adjustments.

I don't get the extra piece that comes with the extension, Does it replace the original spring /plate holder; A simple drawing would have helped. Thanks

what is the other thing that you show with this magazine extension? is it the follower on top of the spring?? I see it but don't see what it is for, you don't mention it in your instructions...
Aug 19, 2021, 08:51It is a floor plate designed to stack the spring inline rather than letting it walk around the inside of the mag and extension. Prevents it from hanging up on itself as it stacks basically.

Is the spring supposed to show at the bottom once the magazine is fully loaded

I really want this i have the sccy cpx 3 and ive been looking for something that adds more capacity, so with this i can load my magazines to 13 safely, will this not mess up my magazines nor gun, and last please is there any youtube video on how to install or can you please explain i have no idea what i would be doing really want to order one
May 19, 2021, 10:19It is only for the 380 mags, the 9mm mags shoulders fold the wrong way and do not allow for an extension that adds capacity as a result. We wouldn't offer a product if it messed up a weapon.
The install is pretty straight forward, remove the stock floor plate via the owners manual info. Compress the spring with the spring plate, install the new extension and adjust the set screw to prevent the extension from moving when on an empty magazine. -

Since 380 is just 1mm shorter then a 9mm will your +3 magazine extension work on mags for a cpx-2?
Thank youMar 26, 2021, 09:07No, the 9mm shoulders are folded in on the 9mm mags so an extension that adds capacity is not possible or we would offer it. Just for reference 9x19mm ammo is 1.150 OAL while 380 acp is .975 all in inches. That is 29.20 mm and 24.765 mm so .380 ACP is about 4.5 mm shorter than standard 9x19
