I have a Springfield XD 40 sub compact with a 3” barrel; I see that you have different spring weights-which weight has less tension than the factory?

You would only go lower for sub sonic ammo, the 40 benefits from higher rates to help with recoil and muzzle rise. If your wanting to try and reduce effort for easier racking then going lower on the recoil spring rate is not a good option as it will allow damage to the locking block with standard pressure or high pressure ammo over time.

Do you make a 14# spring set for cds mod.3

We have a couple mod 3 pistols on the way. We will get a listing for them as soon as we have parts setup for them but at this time we do not have any parts for the mod3 pistols.

I have a Springfield XD9 with the factory recoil spring assembly. I believe its 19 LBS. Is there a spring or assembly with a lighter weight spring. It just seems very tight with the 19LBS. Thank you

Lower rate spring sets would be for low pressure and sub sonic loads. It may damage the locking block over time with standard and high pressure loads so I do not recommend it.

I have arthritis in my hands which makes it hard for me to rack the slide. I have the tactical model and I was hopeful that you have a lighter spring available to replace the factory spring.

Sorry, no we do not have a lighter spring setup for help with that. Going lighter on the rate is for low pressure loads only. Use with full pressure will damage the locking block with lower spring pressure. I recommend a rack assist like Springer Precision makes for competition. Check them out for that as I think that will be an excellent option for your needs.
