Have a new S&W Bodyguard 2.0. Slide super hard to rack and has an issue with returning to battery- I have to “nudge” the slide into battery to fire. Would one of your recoil springs help?
I have about 150 rounds thru it and it is starting to loosen up, Told it gets better around 250 rounds.
Thanks ChuckJan 17, 2025, 09:15It will be heavy to rack due to the design and high spring rate on the return spring assembly to insure it returns fully to battery. If your having battery issues under live fire it may be ammo pressure charge, cartridge shape issues or grip. Going up in rate will supply more energy for return but require higher pressure ammo. Going lower will make it easier to slightly lower effort to rack and cycle better with lower pressure ammo due to lower resistance to slide movement.
