Stainless Steel upgrade for the Ruger American® Pistol striker system. This new guide removes the troublesome plastic guide that tends to have the head break off and can jam up the striker assembly.
We have designed the new guide to also reduce the trigger pull 1.0 lb over stock making the trigger easier to pull and also reducing the over penetration of the primer seen on some units with soft primers. 100% reliable with standard ammo from steel cased to brass cased but with no jams or failures from damaged or failed plastic guides.

Does your striker guide help with the grittiness in the trigger takeup ?
May 23, 2022, 09:31It may help but cleaning the action completely and lubing it as well as polishing is the best solution for the grittiness some have.

Are these striker guides still in production? And will they fit the Ruger American Compact chambered in 45?

Sep 27, 2021, 09:27Currently no, I have them planned for production but not a date yet, sorry. Our mills and lathes are running as fast as possible given the limited man power and supply issues.

Not only "bomb proofs" the mechanism (as the description says) adding peace of mind and confidence the gun will perform when needed, but it also completely transforms the pull of the of slide to a clean, silky smooth feel. If you have an RAP or a RAPc, do yourself a favor and get this part. Remember to rack the slide a bunch just before you install it to really appreciate the before and after.

Michael MurphyJan 17, 2021, 14:39The steel striker guide was a great upgrade for my Ruger the trigger pull was smoother it’s shot more accurately because of that I recommend a small wooden dowel to keep the holes aligned while you set the pin other than that it was very easy to install and was an obvious must have for my Ruger
