I ordered a trigger return spring but there was no instructions for the installation.

They do not come with written instructions. We have an install video below the listing that will guide you through the install. The kimber does not need the press to get the trigger pin out like the sig 938 in the video, you can punch the pin out with a 1/16 punch on the kimber. The rest of the install is the same as both guns are basically clones of the colt pony.

I have a micro 9 that 1 out of five times will not chamber round correctly. I was told at gun shop my return spring was a little weak. I cleaned ramp but did not polish due to not feeling any scratches. Gun is about 3 years old but haven’t shot but 1 box thru it. Any hand retention at all and first round will get lodged but it I use release on side it will chamber for most part. Do you think a stronger spring will help?

That could be slide spring pressure or ammo, certain bullet shapes do have issue loading in the short barrel actions sometimes. I would try another brand or two of ammo before I start trying to alter parts if you do not have but one box of ammo through it. Typically when we have issues like this is 1: bullet shape/case size 2: use of the slide lock lever to release it rather than pulling it back to stop 3: feed ramp 4: return spring rate Since your having better luck with the slide lock lever when you release I would say try a couple different brands of ammo then look at increasing the spring rate.

looking for a lighter spring pull

Altering the sear and hammer is really the only way to get a lighter pull on these due to the SA design, altering the trigger return spring rate will induce reset issues and dropping the hammer spring rate will create misfires with hard primers. Altering either will not make a notable rate change in the pull.

It is slightly stronger than the spring used for kimber.
