SAR K2 45 Optic Mounting Plate

Introducing the Optic Mount Plate for K2 45 pistols. Made from aircraft grade aluminum and then hard anodized to mil spec for longevity and scratch resistance, this is the optic mount that you need to bring your K2 45 to the next level. Now available in Black or Red anodized finish. This no gunsmithing required mounting plate is designed to replace your rear sight, no milling of the slide required.

    What footprint does the. Sar k2 mount have? Rms , Rms. Rmsc.?
    First shim I bought was incorrect. Need to know for your plate and the Holosun 407

    Which model 407, the k or the c? Which plate do you have from us, the RMR patterned plate or the RMSC/doctor/venom patterns? Reference the listing for each based on the plate you ordered for all the info.

    The Holosun 407 requires the wedged spacer (ADE 1.0) to adjust elevation.
    Will the screws supplied be long enough to accommodate the spacer and optic?
    What are screw sizes if I require longer ones?

    The plate is threaded for 6-32 threads for optic mounting.

    Not a question.
    Just finished installing my ramp and Holosun 407.
    To remove the K2 adjustable sit on the SAR do this.
    Remove elevation screw, what out for the 2 small springs.
    The sight WILL NOT flip to the front enough to get to the factory Allen heads.
    Take a very small punch and from R to L tap out the pivot pin on the site.
    Now there are 2 small Allen heads holding the sight to slide, remove them.
    Now use a flat tip punch and tap out the sight dovetail.
    Clean off the old locktite off the slide, put some blue locktite on the dovetail opening.
    Tap in new Galloway ramp and center it. The tighten set screw down on new ramp.
    Wipe off excess locktite, set pistol upright till it dries so the locktite does not run.
    Then mount your optic.
    I like the GALLOWAY RAMPS. Second pistol I installed one on.

    It will fit, as noted in the listing it will mount to the rear set of 6-32 threaded holes and will not use the location studs.
