For a Canik tp9 elite sc I'm looking at getting the 4lb striker spring and a 20lb guide rod along with your jefe trigger , none of these would cause issues with typical 115 to 124 gr ammo such as gold dot or fiocci or even scorpion ammo . Ammo prices get pretty ridiculous really fast I want to make sure I don't upgrade myself out of affordable range ammo.
Sep 26, 2024, 09:52Gold dot will be fine as will any quality practice ammo that uses standard or soft primers. Low grade bulk like fiocci is going to have hard primers and will struggle with stock setups. We buy it and other brands like it to insure failure during training so we know we have built in transition training. We have ammo info on our faq page for reference. If you want to run low grade bulk practice ammo as well as possible leave the striker stock or go higher on it's rate.

Will this improve my Out Of Battery issue?
Aug 21, 2024, 13:25If your pistol is hanging up not returning to battery with quality ammo with correct case length and assembled length running standard or high pressure ammo you should look at feed lip issues and grip issues. If you go with a higher rate spring set it will apply more pressure to return and hold the slide in battery.

I'm having issue with stock spring spreading off the guide rod at the front. Does your guide rod / spring prevents this from happening?
Jul 31, 2024, 09:01Our spring assemblies use a retainer washer to insure they stay assembled under cycling and outside the slide.

I want to know if this will make my slide smoother than the original guide rod?
May 2, 2024, 15:22The rod assembly doesn't affect slide to chassis finish. That is something that would need to be smoothed/polished on the slide and chassis.

How does the weight of this guide rod assembly compare to OEM? Is this heavier than stock?
Apr 15, 2024, 08:52The stainless rod is 3 times heavier than the plastic rod.
