We've been more and more impressed with the Canik TP9 series with every new iteration. The SFx is no exception, however there is always room to improve. So when you asked for improvements we answered with the first true Canik spring kit on the market. Well now we are answering your call again with an economic answer to the trigger that is big on function and small on cost. The Jefe SFx is a flat face trigger that allows full forward travel of the trigger, while having a built in over travel stop so that once the striker falls the trigger stops shortening the overall trigger pull length. With the flat face your trigger finger is positioned correctly to maximize the pull as well with the least amount of effort from the shooter. 3D printed from ballistic nylon, this trigger can take the abuse you're going to give it in training and smile about it. We strive to make all parts we manufacture to be drop in, although there is the rare occasion where a part will HAVE to be fitted to the tolerances of your particular pistol. We cannot control the tolerances of mass produced firearms, therefore we highly suggest that if you run into a tolerance issue to contact us at tech@gallowayprecision.com before taking it to a qualified armorer to fit the part. I purchased your jefe trigger for my sfx last year and it installed easily and works flawlessly as described. However, after using it for some I wonder why you didn't design it to be more angled forward such that when it hits the wall the trigger is closer to 90 degress? I understand making it break at 90 degrees is impossible but It seems like it could be a lot closer.

It varies depending on the pistol's fire control and grip tolerances. They stack out differently and are not controlled super tight due to the components manufacturing process and tolerance range.

It looks like there is a set screw to fine tune the amount of over travel, is that correct?

I am also interested in this trigger for the Mete MC9 and TP9 Elite SC. Are you going to be offering either of these soon?

Yes that is the purpose of the screws yes. I have a MC9 and Elite SC trigger coming soon.

Same as stock, it is a trigger and does not alter the pull rate, just improve the leverage and staging of the pull.

Since it works with the TP9SFX will it also work with the Mete SFX?

Should work yes, the mete is the same pistol inside as far as we have seen but we have not had one in to check in house.

Very nice trigger and simple to install, I thought I would have problems, but everything lined up perfectly and it only took me about 10 minutes to install and I was taking my time. I'm sure it could be done in just a few minutes but no rush, nice crisp break on it, but enough take up on the first round so your not committed to fire it on the first round, or in a high adrenaline situation, it's not accidentally going to fire from a shaky hand, all the following rounds after the first one are going to be very quick as the stroke is so short. I like that on this trigger, you really have to mean to fire it on the first round, then pop, pop, pop! SWEET!
