Sigurd Max Short Stroke Trigger for Ruger® LCP® MAX
Introducing the Galloway Precision Sigurd trigger for LCP® MAX pistols. With a built in pre travel stop, integrated safety blade, and redesigned geometry of the swing will really take your LCP® MAX to a new level of preparedness and action by removing around 20% to 25% of the pre travel of the trigger (depending on the tolerances of your particular pistol) making follow up shots faster. Coming in Black or Red anodized aircraft grade aluminum with a 3D printed ballistic nylon safety blade this is a must have upgrade for your LCP® MAX. Get yours today!
We have had some requests for a Raw version of this for those that would like to apply a finish of their choosing. So we are now offering RAW as a finish choice. The Raw version does not have the safety blade preinstalled so you can apply your selected finish without coating the blade. Safety Blade installation instructions are available here. Please keep in mind these will need to be coated in clear or a color of your choice, and once coated with your finish the trigger will be non-returnable. The Red and Black versions are anodized with the safety blade installed.
We've also had some requests for an Aluminum Safety Blade. We are now offering both the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Nylon we have been using for over 6 years and the new Black Anodized Aluminum Safety Blade. The aluminum version is an additional $5.00. Please use the drop down to select which safety blade you prefer.
Available in Black, Red, or Raw.
Fits Ruger® LCP® MAX Pistols.
As always, proudly made right here in the USA.
We strive to make all parts we manufacture to be drop in, although there is the rare occasion where a part will HAVE to be fitted to the tolerances of your particular pistol. We cannot control the tolerances of mass produced firearms, therefore we highly suggest that if you run into a tolerance issue to contact us at tech@gallowayprecision.com before taking it to a qualified armorer to fit the part. We also offer installation of all triggers, trigger kits, and parts that we make for a nominal fee.

i have the lcp max 75th anniversary edition. the trigger appears to be aluminum already (not sure of any other differences). have you had any experience with the anniversary edition and would it still be beneficial to upgrade to the sigurd or do i already have an upgraded trigger from ruger?
Sep 3, 2024, 09:02The stock trigger is just an aluminum trigger, it doesn't offer any performance upgrade over the stock plastic one, our trigger is a performance trigger that offers trigger travel limits to give a better trigger experience with it.

When are you getting in the Ruger lcp Max trigger in red/anodized seems like you always out of stock
Mar 4, 2024, 07:46We have some headed to anodizing. We sale of a lot of the red for sure, but we sale a lot of them in black to so just trying to keep them both in stock has been difficult but we run everything in house on our own cnc mills then send them to a local anodizing company for coating.

Is the raw trigger aluminum or anodized, if it's aluminum can it just be polished if it's anodized will any clear coat adhere to it?
Jan 16, 2024, 16:05It is raw for end user to finish as they desire. You should check with the clear coat maker to see if they require any special prep for aluminum. We use cera kote in house for non standard color we do not have the anodizing do.

Kim CooperJul 14, 2024, 15:39Bought the 13 outer spring and sigurd trigger. The bore on the trigger was too small and had to be sanded slightly to fit. Now it works great, no more finger bite. Spring cured the problem of closing the action on a full mag. Fifty bucks well spent.

Jon LDec 1, 2023, 08:39Purchased & installed the Sigurd Max Short Trigger, 13lb outer recoil spring, stainless steel guide rod for the LCP Max. Noticeable improvement to trigger take-up and pinch/blister of OEM trigger, upon reassembly. Same immediate difference was noted with the outer recoil spring, when racking the slide. Looking forward to the performance results at the range. ***Must note: the instructional video is indeed too fast and doesn't point out key details of reassembly. Another YouTube install video was needed as a supplement, for myself as a first time gunsmith.

William RamseyOct 27, 2023, 14:58I decided to overhaul my Ruger LCP Max in 380. I purchased & installed the Sigurd Max Short Trigger, 13lb outer recoil spring, stainless steel guide rod & the Performance Spring Kit. I took it to my local range today and was very happy with the results. I recommend all of these products. The installation was not very difficult.

JEFFREY SIMMONSAug 21, 2023, 22:25I received it today and had it installed very quickly and easily. I am super impressed with the improvement over the stock trigger the pre-travel has improved significantly. It was a very easy modification and well worth the money.

Aron LeeJul 18, 2023, 00:46The trigger feels surprisingly good. The pretravel is reduced significantly. The reset "feels" faster. This also fixed my trigger finger pitching issue while shooting which was the main reason I got this trigger to begin with.
