I recently dropped in the ss guide rod and spring for my g3. The 20 lb. Spring. I actualy have never had a single failure running every round u can think of 115 124 147 from round to flat to ball +p usually run american gunner 124 + and practice with that ammo atleast a little bit... was just not a fan of plastic on such a highly used piece. My question is there any reason the 20 lb. Spring is to much?? Haven't shot it yet.!.?

Weak 115 grain bulk practice may not have enough pressure to cycle as 147 that is sub sonic. A lot of cheap115 is just barely in the sami spec range for standard pressure. 124 is typically loaded to full pressure or nato pressure. 147 would work best with the stock rate and any lower pressure 115 as well.

Will your Taurus G3 stainless steel guide rod work in a G3 TORO model ?
I am not aware of any slide differences between the two models, but wanted to make sure.
    Thanks.

Yes as far we have seen the internals are all the same just the slide cosmetic is different.

Is it better to upgrade my guide rod on my Tarus G3 or upgrade the trigger?

Depends on what you want to improve. The trigger or recoil/feeding.

Curious, Why would this G3, ss guide rod with the 15lb single spring not work with the G2? All these small pistols perfect for small frame, small hand women but can not pull slides back on any Taurus and S&W M2.0?

Different pistol for starters. The barrel is longer on the G3 than any of the G2 versions, they are all compacts like the G3c which we offer a rod for separate.

Would you up the recoil spring rate to run +p loads?

I'm not sure the Taurus is rated for +P loads but the higher rate spring set will help with higher pressure loads.

I got the 20lb spring for my G3. It now feeds flawlessly, even with Russian Steel Cased ammo. When My daughter got her own G3, I ordered her one of the springs too.

Fitment was flawless on my G3. Truly a drop in replacement. I went with the 22lb spring rate and once I get a chance to take it out to the range, I will report results here. So far I am very impressed as usual. Thanks!
